About us

North Georgia Family Doulas is a Christian Doula group that was started in order to provide family centered support to expecting and expanding families in and around North Georgia. Our mission is to foster positive relationships between the expecting family and their healthcare providers throughout pregnancy and birth. We are here to help guide you and your partner through pregnancy by offering informational support, including recommended reading and local resources, physical support, emotional encouragement, and prayer.  Whether you intend to have a medicated or natural hospital birth, planned cesarean section, or a planned home birth, we are here to help you. We support first time parents and seasoned parents alike. We draw on our education, training, personal experiences, and Christian faith to provide you with the best possible support in the ways that you desire and need.
